Mayor, Ward 2 Alderman seats up for grabs in today’s municipal election in Fort Pierre

It’s city election day (April 12, 2022) in Fort Pierre.

This year’s election has incumbent Mayor Gloria Hanson being challenged by former Fort Pierre Mayor James Hoffman. In Ward 2, Carl Rathbun is being challenged by Scott Deal.

Ward 1 Alderman Larry Cronin and Ward 3 Alderman Rick Cronin are unopposed.

All voting takes place at the Community and Youth Involved Center in Fort Pierre. Polls are open 8am-8pm CT (7am-7pm MT).
