PIERRE – Lincoln Kienholz starred on the mound Tuesday night as the Pierre Governors opened their home baseball schedule with a 10-0 win over Huron at Hyde Stadium.
Kienholz pitched a dominant game, striking out 13 in a two-hit shutout. Kienholz also doubled and drove in two runs.
Pierre (5-6) broke a scoreless tie with nine runs in the home fourth. Grayson Hunsley and George Stalley had RBI singles. Matthew Hanson had an RBI triple in the big inning. Brecken Krueger was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
