Only one number-one team changed, but plenty else changed from last week in the South Dakota Media High School Basketball Polls, released Monday.
Sioux Falls Jefferson took over the number-one spot in AA girls basketball after defeating Washington, last week’s number-one. O’Gorman, the previous number two team, was beaten by Pierre.
That win moved the Governors up to number three in the AA girls poll. Pierre’s boys dropped one spot to number five in the AA poll.
Winner entered the Class A boys poll at number five.
White River stayed at number two in the Class B boys poll, with Lower Brule staying fourth. Faith entered the rankings at number five.
Sully Buttes moved into the Class B girls poll. The Chargers are fourth
