The City of Pierre is once again giving residential utility customers a coupon to dump a free load at the city solid waste facility, and this year the coupons are available on paper or digitally.
Val Keller, Solid Waste Manager, says the paper coupon included with the March utility bills entitles each residential customer to the free disposal of one small trailer or pickup-size load of waste. She says those who get their residential utility bill electronically are also able to dump one free load.
Keller says the free load coupons are valid through November 2023 and are intended for big items. Customers should continue to use garbage collection services for household waste.
