FORT MYERS, FL – Sonny Gray had a strong start Thursday in the Twins’ 2-1 spring training win over the Dominican Republic World Baseball Classic team at Hammond Stadium.
Gray struck out four in three innings against a lineup that included former Twin Nelson Cruz and 2022 American League Rookie of the Year Julio Rodríguez.
Joey Gallo had an RBI single for the Twins (7-6-1).
