BRANDON – Pierre had a fifth-place girls finish and fourth for the boys Saturday at the ESD Track & Field meet at Brandon Valley High School.
Pierre’s girls scored 83 points and the Governor boys had 92.
Brandon Valley won in both genders.
The Governors had five first-place finishers, including Kali Ringstmeyer in the girls 100 meters, Reese Terwilliger in the girls shot put, Jared Lutmer in the boys 3200 meters and Jason Maciejczak winning the boys shot put and discus.
In seven of the Governors’ eight outdoor events this season, Maciejczak has won both the shot put and discus. In the other event, the Howard Wood Dakota Relays, he was second in both.
Ringstmeyer has now won the 100 meters five times outdoors this season, along with four wins in the 200.
Terwilliger now has six outdoor shot put wins.
