PIERRE – The first win continues to be elusive for the Oahe Zap.
The new Independence League Baseball team lost again to the Nebraska Prospects 8-0 on Thursday at Hyde Stadium as the Prospects completed a sweep of the three-game season-opening series.
Jackson Trout led the Prospects with two doubles, a single and four RBI.
Starter Graham Young took the loss for Oahe (0-3). He struck out eight in six innings, but also allowed six runs and seven hits.
The Zap were limited to six singles. Peyton McDowell had two of them.
