Four Corners was declared the 2023 Pony Hills League amateur baseball regular season champion on Tuesday.
Four Corners went 11-4 in league play, one game better than Kimball/White Lake, who had to forfeit their game with Colome that had been scheduled for Tuesday.
This makes Four Corners the top seed for the SDABA District 3 Tournament, which will begin Saturday in Kimball. Four Corners’ first game will be Sunday against the winner of Saturday’s game between Colome and Wessington Springs. Plankinton F&M Bankers will then play Chamberlain Saturday, with the winner to face Kimball/White Lake on Sunday.
