U.S. pork exports posted another strong performance in October, led by record-large shipments to Mexico and broad-based growth elsewhere. U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) President and CEO Dan Halstrom details the latest export results in the attached USMEF Audio Report. In addition to the record performance from Mexico, October pork exports to Central America were among the largest on record and shipments to Colombia were the largest since mid-2022.
Halstrom notes that while October beef exports remained well below last year’s large totals, demand strengthened year-over-year in Mexico, Taiwan and Central America.
A detailed summary of the October export results for U.S. pork, beef and lamb is available from the USMEF website.
