Sully Buttes advances to SoDak 16 Qualifier with win over Potter Co.

In a game that went back and forth to start, Sully Buttes was able to dig in and there was one player that stuck out amongst them all. Potter County took a 2-point lead into the second quarter, but Sully Buttes answered with a run of their own, outscoring the Battlers 16-5 in the second. Wesley Wittler played as a man possessed finishing with a double-double, scoring 41-points and 13 rebounds. Wittler hit 6 of his 11 three point shots and finished 14/24 from the floor. On the Potter County side, the Battlers had two players finish in double-digits, Jhett Simon with 12 and Jerand Chase with 15. The Chargers would go onto win 68-46 and punch their ticket into the SoDak 16 qualifier.
