The Twins kicked off their three-game series on the road against Atlanta last night, and looked like they were on their way to yet another win against an NL East team after taking 2 of 3 from the Mets earlier this week. The Twins scored two in the second thanks to Jeffers and Keaschall base-hits. A Larnach homer in the third and a Julien sac fly in the fourth got the Twins out in front by four.
Leading 4-1 in the 8th, the Braves bats came to life rallying to score 5 runs and take a 6-4 lead. Braves closer Raisel Iglesias came on in the ninth and shut down the Twins handing them their 13th loss of the year. The Twins will look to bounce back tonight at 6:15 CT on KGFX 1060 AM or 103.1 FM in the Pierre area. On the mound for Minnesota will be Simeon Woods Richardson and Chris Sale for Atlanta.
