The 2025 South Dakota Governor’s Agricultural Summit is being held next month (June 17-18, 2025) in Deadwood.
State Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources Secretary Hunter Roberts says the first day includes a full lineup of speakers and presentations.
Roberts says Alan Hojer with the South Dakota Ag Foundation will share details about their “Keep Farmers Farming” program.
The second day of the Ag Summit will include a tour focusing on forestry management from tree growth to finished product.
Registration for the Governor’s Ag Summit is open and the event is free to attend. Pre-registration is required to ensure there’s enough space, food and informational handouts for all in attendance.
