Minnesota is playing the best baseball in the MLB right now, after sweeping the Orioles in a three-game series they have started their three-gamer with the Giants with yet another win. The Twins slowly stacked runs last night and leaned on great pitching to win 3-1, making it their sixth straight.
Trevor Larnach got the scoring started early, driving in Buxton with a single in the first. Carlos Correa added another in the fourth and Buxton capped it off with another RBI in the fifth.
Chris Paddack hurled an absolute gem taking his start into the eighth inning before being pulled with a 7.1 IP, 3 hit stat-line. Paddack also struck out six.
The Twins look for their seventh straight win tonight at 6:15 PM on KGFX 1060 AM or on 103.1 FM in the Pierre area.
