Pierre has great showing at Varsity ESD Track and Field Meet Saturday

The Pierre track and field team traveled to Harrisburg Saturday for the ESD Track and Field Meet. Ten AA teams make up the conference including Aberdeen Central, Brandon Valley, Brookings, Harrisburg, Huron, Mitchell, Pierre, Tea, Watertown, and Yankton. The Governors had a fantastic day overall with the boys finishing in 5^th scoring 81 points and the girls finishing in 3^rd scoring 90 points. Pierre finished with 4 ESD individual event champions, 8 runner-ups, a new school record established, and an athlete named the “Most Outstanding Track Athlete” of the meet.
