In an effort to make scholarship opportunities easier for students to find, South Dakota’s Board of Regents, Department of Education and Board of Technical Education invite organizations, foundations and businesses to submit their scholarship offerings to the Our Dakota Dreams Statewide Scholarship Bulletin Board.
The online resource for students and families seeking financial support for post-secondary education, found on the OurDakotaDreams.com website, streamlines scholarship searches and expands access to scholarship opportunities. The Statewide Scholarship Bulletin Board makes scholarships easier to find by enabling users to search for opportunities that best match them.
To ensure scholarship opportunities are relevant and beneficial, all submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Eligibility: Scholarships must be open to students residing in South Dakota.
- Applicability: Scholarships must be usable at South Dakota public and/or private colleges and universities.
- Award Amount: The total scholarship award must be at least $250.
- Content Restrictions: Scholarships must not promote alcohol, drugs, illegal activity, or speech not protected by the First Amendment.
