The decision made late yesterday was to move today’s Pierre vs. Spearfish game away from Rapid City due to potential snowy weather has set the Governors up with a Friday home game today.
While Pierre looks to jump back into the win column sitting at 2-2 after a loss on April 16th to Brookings, Spearfish searches for their first win of the season sitting at 0-3.
In the Governors wins, their pitching has been phenomenal, mostly coming fro ace McKenzi Flottmeyer. Their offense has also carried their load in victories scoring 24-combined runs in those wins. Even without wins on the year, Spearfish has played competetive softball and will present a tough test for the Governors today.
