Lane Cadotte Added to South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame Records
Lane Cadotte, a 2025 graduate of Wakpala School, has been officially added to the records section of the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame website in recognition of his outstanding achievements on the basketball court.
Cadotte earned his place in South Dakota basketball history through remarkable performances in three-point shooting.

Community Honoring Scheduled for May 12, 2026
An honoring celebration for Lane Cadotte will be held at Wakpala School on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
The event is being hosted by Lane’s family and Wakpala School to recognize his achievements and contributions to the school’s athletic program. A community meal will follow the honoring ceremony.
All students, families, and community members are invited to attend and celebrate this special occasion.
