Pierre temporary street closure today on part of Coteau Street

The City of Pierre has temporarily closed a portion of Coteau Street today (June 3, 2026) to allow crews to complete water main utility work.

The closure affects Coteau Street from the intersection with East Missouri Avenue to the alley adjacent to Happy Jack’s Casino. The closure is expected to remain in place throughout the day to allow workers to safely perform the necessary maintenance and repairs on a main water line in that area.
