Pierre city offices will be closed Friday (June 19, 2026) for the Juneteenth holiday. Both Pierre City Hall and Rawlins Municipal Library will be closed all day.
Pierre residential garbage collections will not be affected, but the Solid Waste Department will have modified hours Friday and Saturday:
- Friday open from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Saturday open from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Rawlins Library will open back up for regular hours for the weekend. Those are:
- Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Sunday from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
