July 1, 2026, update:
The Hughes County Emergency Manager has established a link for county residents to self-report residential and commercial damages from the weather event that occurred on Monday (June 29, 2026).
The deadline for reporting damages is July 10, 2026.

Action/Vote: Motion and second to approve the declaration, followed by a roll call vote.
Emergency Plan Activation: Discussion on unlocking local emergency funds, mutual aid agreements, or requesting state/federal assistance as needed; or offering as needed
Public Information & Directives: Updates on evacuation routes, shelter locations, and emergency public information releases.
Public comment provides an opportunity for the individuals to address the county commission but may not exceed three (3) minutes.
