The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for much of western and central South Dakota today (Mon.)
Weatherology meteorologist Micheal Karow says there’s a strong area of low pressure to the east, causing the wind to kick up.
The current forecast calls for temperatures in central South Dakota to range from the upper 40s to low 50s this week, which Karow says is a little below normal.
