Franck Hits For Cycle As Hastings Defeats Zap

PIERRE – Gage Franck saw to it that the Oahe Zap wouldn’t gain their first winning streak.

Franck hit for the cycle Friday as the Hastings Sodbusters outlasted the Zap 11-6 at Hyde Stadium.

Franck homered to lead off the game, singled in the third inning, doubled in the eighth and tripled in the ninth.  He was four-for-six and drove in two runs.  Nick Jones had two doubles, a single, and four RBI for Hastings.

Kyle Memarian and Josh Coolbaugh had three hits each for the Zap (3-16).  Losing pitcher Abel Anzaldua allowed five runs and seven hits in six innings.
