JULY 25, 2023:
The Pierre City Recreation Department and the Pierre Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fire hydrant party tonight (July 25, 2023) at Harrison Park, weather permitting.
The party will include water balloons, super soakers, fire hoses purposed as oversized sprinklers and popsicles.
Activities will be held from 6–7:30pm. No registration is necessary. The event is free and open to the public.

Tonight’s (July 18, 2023) hydrant party at Brandt’s Pond in Pierre has been cancelled due to weather.

For the fourth year in a row, the Pierre City Recreation Department is pairing up with the Pierre Volunteer Fire Department to hold fire hydrant parties this month (July 2023).
The parties will include water balloons, super soakers, fire hoses purposed as oversized sprinklers and popsicles.
Weather permitting, all parties will be held from 6–7:30pm. No registration is necessary. All parties are free and open to the public.
