Kids ages 4-12 are invited to participate in a Pedal Pull during the Fort Pierre Community Appreciation Event tomorrow evening (July 12, 2023) at the Stanley County Expo Center.
During a pedal pull, contestants sit on the seat of a pedal tractor and drag a weighted sled as far as they can.
Boys will compete against boys, and girls will compete against girls. Contestants are divided by age groups, with the top three winners in each group qualified to go to the State Pedal Pull Championships in Mitchell on Labor Day.
Registration for the Pedal Pull starts at 5:30pm CT in the Expo Center in Fort Pierre. Competition starts at 6:30pm CT. There is no entry fee.
