The Buffs didn’t miss a step after winning the Jones County Invitational over the weekend, coming out Tuesday night and dominating Jones County to the tune of a 42-point victory. It was the usual suspects, Kaden Montana, Paxton Deal and Eddie Duffy all finishing in double-digits. The Buffs came out hot, getting out to a 22-4 lead after the first quarter. They played a perfect second quarter defensively, allowing zero points in the period and taking a 32-4 lead into the half. Most of Stanley County’s offensive production comes from outside the arc, and is something that can carry them deep into the postseason, especially if Deal, Montana and Duffy are on their game.
The Buffs improve to 9-1 on the season and will take on Potter Co. Friday night om Gettysburg.
