The Zap bats came to life on Saturday late in the game against Casper when they came close to mounting a comeback in game two of the series but just fell short, but they carried that momentum into Sunday’s game and opened the offensive flood gates against the Spuds in game three. The Spuds came out swinging early and took a first inning lead, but after 7 innings of back and forth baseball, the Zap offense settled in and hung five runs in the bottom of the eighth to capitalize on what was already a thrilling game to start with. That five-run inning helped push the Zap past their rival in Casper as they would win 10-6 and set up for an exciting series finale today.
Casper and Oahe will face off at 6:05 PM CT tonight to settle the series at Hyde Stadium, and if you can’t make it to the game you can listen live on River 92.7 and also watch it live on DRGnews.com at the River 92.7 station page.
