Hughes County to begin chip sealing on Sunshine Loop and Lakeview Place on Monday

The Hughes County Highway Department will begin chip sealing on Sunshine Loop and Lakeview Place on Monday (June 1, 2026).

The work will continue for the duration of the week. Traffic delays are expected while this work is being completed. Use of alternate routes is encouraged.

The Hughes County Highway Department appreciates people’s patience and cooperation during this chip sealing work.
