Gutter work to cause temporary closure at intersection of Callaway Court and Abbey Road in Pierre starting Monday

Callaway Court in Pierre will be closed at the intersection with Abbey Road beginning Monday (Aug. 31, 2026).

The work is expected to continue until Labor Day (Sept. 7).

Abbey Road will remain open throughout the project. To help accommodate school traffic, construction activity will be paused around 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

The closure is necessary for crews to remove asphalt and install a concrete valley gutter across Callaway at the Abbey Road intersection.
