Beginning today the City of Pierre will begin chip sealing select streets throughout the community.
Drivers may experience minor delays while crews are working, but no full street closures are planned.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use caution around workers and equipment.
Chip sealing is a preventative maintenance treatment that helps extend the life of paved streets.
