Rooster Rush Fall Decorating Contest Entries Wanted

PIERRE, S.D. — The Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting businesses in Pierre and Fort Pierre to show off their fall spirit in the Rooster Rush Fall Decorating Contest.
This year’s contest builds on the momentum from the Chamber’s 2025 Statewide Rooster Rush Award, and the goal is simple: make 2026 bigger and better.
Businesses are encouraged to deck out their indoor and outdoor spaces with a Fall & Hunting theme, celebrating the season and welcoming hunters to the community.
Businesses can register by emailing mpanzer@pierre.org by September 25th.
Rudy the Rooster will visit registered displays on Tuesday, October 6th and Wednesday, October 7th.
The public can vote for their favorite display October 13th through October 16th at 12 PM on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
