Sioux Avenue between Highland Avenue and Pawnee Street will close to traffic beginning Monday (Aug. 31, 2026) for sewer line repair work.
During the project, left turns from Sioux Avenue onto Highland Avenue will not be permitted. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks.
The City of Pierre appreciates residents patience and cooperation while the work is completed.
