MITCHELL – Two Central South Dakota girls’ teams won Saturday at the Hanson Classic at the Corn Palace.
White River 53, Hamlin 49
White River (6-0), ranked third in Class B, held off Hamlin behind 24 points from Caelyn Valandra-Prue, who was 16-of-17 on free throws. Maleighya Estes scored 12.
Faulkton Area 44, Avon 40
Isabel Aesoph scored 28 for Faulkton Area (3-6). Peyton Melius scored eight with 13 rebounds.
