The Bureau of Administration, which oversees the Obligation Recovery Center (the Center) for the state, has released the FY2021 Annual Report.
The Center has now completed its fifth year of collections. In FY2021 debt recovered on behalf of state agencies totaled over $3.8 million–the highest annual collection year. Additionally, payment plans were entered for almost $7.5 million in debt owed for a total impact more than $11.3 million in FY2021.
“Reliant Capital Solutions took over collection services on the state’s behalf in mid-November,” said Commissioner Scott Bollinger of the Bureau of Administration. “We’re very pleased with how smoothly the transition has gone and look forward to continued success in collecting debt owed to the state.”
