Rural Health Care, Inc., CEO Jim Hardwick says his group supports Avera’s plans to construct a new health care facility which will enhance the integration of services in north central South Dakota.
Avera recently (Feb. 26) announced plans to raise funds to build the Avera Missouri River Health Center in Gettysburg. Avera Health has committed $9 million, leaving $3 million to be raised through a local, capital campaign by June 1.
The transfer of RHCI to Avera is expected to be complete by the beginning of 2020.
