The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Blunt area until 7:30pm tomorrow (Sat.) evening.
Mayor Bryce Chambers says efforts to protect the town from the rapidly rising Medicine Creek are working– so far. He says they’d run out of sand yesterday (Thurs.), but more arrived today.
If anyone wants to help fill sandbags in Blunt, he says they’ll take the help.
Chambers says everyone in Blunt appreciates the help they’ve gotten so far.
Chambers says so far, no buildings in Blunt have flooded.
