KWAT, Watertown- The National Weather Service says Saturday’s tornado that was on the ground briefly northeast of Estelline was a rare, “anti-cyclonic” twister. That means it rotated in a clockwise direction. Weather experts say in the Northern Hemisphere, nearly all tornadoes rotate counter-clockwise. Saturday’s twister was on the ground for less than a minute and knocked down seven trees at a farmstead. No other damage was reported.
