Pierre Police officer Cole Martin will be promoted to Patrol Sergeant in a pinning ceremony today at 1pm at the Multi-Purpose Room in the Solem Public Safety Center.
Martin has been with the Pierre Police Department since August of 2005. He began his career as a Communications Officer, transferring to Patrol Officer and most recently serving as an investigator assigned to the Northern Plains Safe Trails Drug Enforcement Task Force in Pierre.
A reception will immediately follow the pinning ceremony and the public is invited.
