The South Dakota Department of Health is reporting 149 new cases of COVID-19 in the state today (July 29) as well as additional cases related to Camp Judson in Keystone.
The daily case number usually comes from a 24 hour time period, but the health department says today’s number includes cases reported between Monday at 1pm and Tuesday at 7pm due to a delay in the daily data extraction.
In addition, the most recent data available shows 32 campers and staff at Camp Judson have tested positive for COVID-19. All of the cases identified are South Dakota residents. The Department continues to investigate positive cases as they are identified and notify close contacts.
