The South Dakota Department of Health has made enhancements to its covid.sd.gov website.
State epidemiologist Dr. Josh Clayton says the previous two dashboards have been combined.
He clarifies the difference between persons tested and tests performed.
Clayton says covid.sd.gov now shows testing progress for the three most recent months.
Clayton points out some information on the website dashboard updates, others doesn’t.
Additionally, the Department of Health asks people to answer the phone when they call because of contact tracing. A department spokesman says most caller IDs will display as “South Dakota Department of Health” or “SDDOH.” If a person doesn’t answer, an informative message is left for the person to call DOH back.
Again, find information for South Dakota at covid.sd.gov.
