Five Inducted into South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame

Five individuals will be inducted into the South Dakota 4-H Volunteer Hall of Fame this year. Each summer, individuals who have made significant contributions to county and state 4-H programs are honored. Due to the health concerns surrounding COVID-19, the public ceremony at the State Fair has be scrapped in favor of a display honoring each of the inductees in the Nordby Exhibit Hall. There are plans to honor this years inductees publicly next year. This years honorees are:

Patricia Casteel of Meade County
Calvin Finnesand of Roberts County
Mike Steiger of Dewey County
Patty Brunner of Pennington County
Margaret Williams of Clay County
