PIERRE – Brecli Honner scored 21 of her 25 points in the second half Friday to lead Harrisburg to a 61-46 come-from-behind win Friday over Pierre to spoil the debut of new Governor Girls Basketball Head Coach Kirk Beebout.
Pierre led by five during the third quarter, but Honner scored 13 of the Tigers’ 18 third-quarter points to turn the game around. Honner also pulled down 11 rebounds.
Caytee Williams had 13 to lead the Governors, including a half-court three-pointer just before the buzzer at the end of the first half. Remington Price scored 10 and Hannah Sazue had 8.
