Friday (March 26, 2021), Rawlins Municipal Library in Pierre will eliminate in-person programming limits and lift age restrictions for library patrons.
Director Robin Schrupp says in-person programming will return to normal and kids between first and fifth grades can be in the library without a parent or guardian. She says curbside service will remain available under special circumstances and to those with mobility issues.
Schrupp says they will still have safety precautions in place including disinfecting, providing hand sanitizer, separating spaces with Plexiglas and encouraging mask use. She says library staff will also continue using ultraviolet light machines to sanitize books and book pages.
