A man from St. Francis has been indicted by a federal grand jury for Assaulting, Resisting and Impeding a Federal Officer.
Kevin Adam Left Hand Bull, age 31, pled not guilty.
The Indictment alleges that on May 19, 2020, in Todd County Left Hand Bull did forcibly interfere with a law enforcement officer who was employed by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services, and the conduct involved physical contact.
The maximum penalty if convicted is up to 12 years in federal prison and/or a $250,000 fine, three years of supervised release and restitution may be ordered.
Left Hand Bull was released on bond pending trial.
