New bathroom facility approved for Pierre’s Griffin Park

The Pierre City Commission has approved the purchase of a new bathroom facility for Griffin Park.

Tom Farnsworth, Parks and Recreation director, says the building would be the first one of this type in the town’s park system.

Farnsworth says the structure will be easy to maintain.

He says the facility would cost a little more than $71-thousand ($71,434).

The purchase was approved unanimously.
