Weather permitting, a portion of Fourth Street in Pierre will close today (April 23) for construction work.
Fourth Street, between Grand and Euclid Avenues, will close on Friday, April 23. Local traffic should use side street parking. Through traffic should detour around the area.
The section of street will be open throughout the weekend. It will re-close on Monday (April 26) and then remain closed until April 30. The closure will allow the city to install new curb and gutter prior to resurfacing the street later this season.
