Weather pending, city street and utility projects in Pierre will impact local traffic this week.
The intersection of Oak Street and Huron Avenue will close today (July 19) for underground utility work. The closure is expected to remain in place through tomorrow. Traffic is encouraged to use an alternate route.

Park Street in Pierre, between Polk and Harrison Avenues, is closed to through traffic for street work. It will remain closed until the end of the month. Access will be maintained for local traffic only. Through traffic is encouraged to use an alternate route.
