FORT MYERS, FL – Sonny Gray pitched four perfect innings in his first start for the Minnesota Twins Sunday in their 8-2 spring training win over the Baltimore Orioles at Hammond Stadium.
Gray, acquired last month from the Cincinnati Reds, struck out six and threw 35 of his 48 pitches for strikes.
Miguel Sanó hit his second home run of the spring for the Twins (8-9), a two-run homer, and drove in three.
Minnesota will host Boston Monday at Hammond Stadium.
