South Dakota freshman guard Maddie Krull has left the program, joining Nebraska.
Krull, a native of Omaha, was the Coyotes’ starting point guard this past season and averaged eight points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in USD’s three games in the NCAA Tournament.
Freshman guard Kyah Watson recently decided to transfer to West Virginia to rejoin Head Coach Dawn Plitzuweit, who became the Mountaineers’ head coach last month. This means that South Dakota will have five new starters next season. Sully Buttes alum Chloe Lamb, Hannah Sjerven and Liv Korngable were all seniors this past season.
