MINOT, ND – Gary Nedved hit a two-run homer and drove in three runs Friday as Post 8 opened play at the Justin Demary Memorial Tournament with a 12-2 win over Glendive (MT) at Corbett Field.
Post 8 scored three runs in the first and three more in the second, two of which came on a George Stalley triple. Nedved’s home run came in the fourth inning. Jett Zabel drove in two runs. Brecken Krueger allowed just two runs in six innings to win on the mound as Post 8 (8-12) broke a four-game losing streak.
