The Fort Pierre City Pool will open Friday (June 2, 2023) from 12:30-5pm.
There will be no Friday night swim and the pool will be closed all day Saturday.
Starting Sunday, the pool in Fort Pierre will be open seven days a week including, July 4. Open Swim is from 12:30-5pm and 6-9pm CT, unless otherwise posted. The pool will close at 5pm on Saturdays, meaning there’s no open swim Saturday evenings.
Admission fee is $2 per child or adult per session. People may also purchase a $30 individual season pass or $50 family pass for the season.
The swimming lesson schedule will be posted on the Fort Pierre city website under the “Departments” tab, then “Parks, Recreation & Fireworks.”

The pool will close if there is lightning or thunder or if a severe weather warning is issued for our area, or if the quality of water or facility presents a health or safety hazard. The pool may be re-opened if severe weather passes over at the discretion of the pool manager.
